Dear Friends
A friend of mine is organizing an event for Dr. Demosthenis Bouros who is a Professor of Pneumonology at the Democritus University of Thrace, Director of the Department of Pneumonology at the University Hospital of Alexandroupolis, and chairman of the department of Internal medicine of the same hospital.
Dr Bouros leads a very discipline and aggressive research team in the field of pulmonary diseases.
His work has been concentrated in the study of Pulmonary Fibrosis, a deadly disease that currently claims the life of 250,000 people per year in the US alone.
Last fall, Dr Bouros teamed up with Professor George Koliakos, a Stem cell expert from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, to administer the direct injection of stem cells onto the lungs of a patient suffering from Pulmonary Fibrosis.
This new bold approach has created an international medical first raising the hopes of patients suffering from the deadly disease.
I thought that would be very interesting for all of you to meet and support him See attached invitation
Thanks
E. Tzoumaka
